Calisthenia Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Calisthenia Android app only. It explains what data is collected, how it is used and who it is shared with.
Summary
Calisthenia has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Nothing is sent to the developer.
Data stored on your device
Your nickname, workout logs, progress, settings and purchase state are kept in a local save file on your device. The file is encrypted and is never uploaded by the app.
Android Auto Backup may copy the save file to your own Google account backup. This is controlled by Google and your device settings. You can also export your save as a code and import it on another phone; that code goes wherever you paste it.
Optional purchases
The app offers one-time “Support” tiers and a “coffee” tip through Google Play Billing.
- Payment is handled entirely by Google. The app never sees your payment details.
- The app asks Google Play which tiers your Google account owns, so they come back after a reinstall or on a new phone.
- Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Third parties
The only third party the app talks to is Google Play Billing.
Permissions
The app uses the Internet permission (for Google Play Billing) and the Vibrate permission (for haptics).
Children
Calisthenia is not directed at children under 13. No data is collected from anyone.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes the local save. There is nothing on a server to delete. Purchases are managed in your Google Play account.
Health note
Calisthenia is not medical advice.
